Baligtad na ang totoo
Sa mata po ng gobyerno
Naduling dahil sa tubo
Binulag tayo't niloko
Hindi ipinagkakanulo,
Demonyo'y magiging santo:
Alagaan mo lang ako
Presyuhan mo ang totoo!
Doon tayo sa kangkungan
'Di uso'ng katotohanan
Kapalit ng karangalan
Premyo ay biglang pagyaman
Mayroong katotohanan
Itong kasinungalingan
Sagutin ang katanungan:
Sino ba ang yumayaman?
Doon po sa Malakanyang
Wala na pong pakundangan
Anu-ano pang dahilan
Puro kasinungalingan

Sample Reply Letter 2
Dear Brods,
As the old saying goes, "Everyone is entitled to
their own opinion". I felt so glad that I'm catching
attention here. Moreover, I am also pleased knowing
that our fund-raising project is a real success in
itself. And there's no way, but to salute our brods
from abroad who contributed more from their bounty
into this project.
However, though our brods here had
shared only a little amount compared to them, I
realized that more effort was done here, too. And I
can see no injustice in giving fair recognition to
both sides (So here we go making everyone's face
happy, right?). But the big question is still there,
do we really made the right decision of donating all
the fruits of our labor to only one recipient?
I myself, have nothing against UP. One thing I'm sure
though, and don't feel a little bit of shame to admit,
that I have more love and compassion to my needful brods
in Fraternity than to my Alma Mater. Well, this is my
truth and destiny, my rhyme and reason as a true
blooded Rhocsan. Sometimes hard to accept, but the
truth always prevails.

My Dear Brods,
In my humble opinion, 'Misplaced Priorities' is a
good article. Even if the article is a hoax, there is
still a good wisdom that we can get from it. Simply by
applying it to the context of our fraternity.
What do we think are the 'Misplaced Priorities' in
our beloved fraternity? Firstly, let's take into
consideration our fund raising and allocations. Yes,
we had raised a lot of funds but then just lost it in
a flick of a finger, by donating everything to our
Alma Mater. Secondly, with regards to our scholarships
foundation, how many resident brods actually benefited
from it? Is 80/20 rule applicable in our funds?
That means, can we keep 80% of the bounty to support our
fratenity's goals and obligations, and sharing only
20% for other community related activities? Why give
everything to others when in fact we have resident
brods who are in dire financial need? As for me, this
is the 'hoax' of our fraternity (pretending to be what
we are not).
We talked about Leadership, Brotherhood,
Determination, Scholarship, 'Shared experiences',
etc., but what really are those things meant to us?
How can we relate our 'misplaced priorities' into it?
I guess, it's time to wake up and face the
reality. There're a lot of problems to tackle in our
own corridors. While we focused too much on other
fences, we can't even find time to clean-up our own
mess.
Lastly, there is an old saying that 'a smart dog
can always scratch its own fleas'. Now the question
is, how smart are we to be able to scratch our own?
The answer lies only in our hands. :-)

Poem For Today
by
Javaero
17.11.02
At the end of the day
We play
And pray next day
To be gay
Hope we get a bigger pay
To make our day
And get our pay
During pay day
Hope we stay
Not to stray
Or stay out of way
To do our way

At the end of the day
We play
And pray next day
To be gay
Hope we get a bigger pay
To make our day
And get our pay
During pay day
Hope we stay
Not to stray
Or stay out of way
To do our way

Familyture

Welcome to Familyture
A family has different culture
Some people are insecure,
-Others are immature
What a horrible mixture!
A company of Software Venture
Now absorbed by Accenture
Where computer furniture
Is part of a bad Architecture
Tis' an endless venture
For a couple's pleasure
Thus a torture
For a company's future
There is a beastly creature
That behaves like a vulture
That is a seizure
To people of Familyture
Don't think there's a cure
Just give your picture
Look of innocence
Who's an amateur?
A danger that lure
A brainless that rule
Presenting new culture
Legacy of a pure vulture!
