Baligtad na ang totoo
Sa mata po ng gobyerno
Naduling dahil sa tubo
Binulag tayo't niloko
Hindi ipinagkakanulo,
Demonyo'y magiging santo:
Alagaan mo lang ako
Presyuhan mo ang totoo!
Doon tayo sa kangkungan
'Di uso'ng katotohanan
Kapalit ng karangalan
Premyo ay biglang pagyaman
Mayroong katotohanan
Itong kasinungalingan
Sagutin ang katanungan:
Sino ba ang yumayaman?
Doon po sa Malakanyang
Wala na pong pakundangan
Anu-ano pang dahilan
Puro kasinungalingan

Sample Reply Letter 2
Dear Brods,
As the old saying goes, "Everyone is entitled to
their own opinion". I felt so glad that I'm catching
attention here. Moreover, I am also pleased knowing
that our fund-raising project is a real success in
itself. And there's no way, but to salute our brods
from abroad who contributed more from their bounty
into this project.
However, though our brods here had
shared only a little amount compared to them, I
realized that more effort was done here, too. And I
can see no injustice in giving fair recognition to
both sides (So here we go making everyone's face
happy, right?). But the big question is still there,
do we really made the right decision of donating all
the fruits of our labor to only one recipient?
I myself, have nothing against UP. One thing I'm sure
though, and don't feel a little bit of shame to admit,
that I have more love and compassion to my needful brods
in Fraternity than to my Alma Mater. Well, this is my
truth and destiny, my rhyme and reason as a true
blooded Rhocsan. Sometimes hard to accept, but the
truth always prevails.

My Dear Brods,
In my humble opinion, 'Misplaced Priorities' is a
good article. Even if the article is a hoax, there is
still a good wisdom that we can get from it. Simply by
applying it to the context of our fraternity.
What do we think are the 'Misplaced Priorities' in
our beloved fraternity? Firstly, let's take into
consideration our fund raising and allocations. Yes,
we had raised a lot of funds but then just lost it in
a flick of a finger, by donating everything to our
Alma Mater. Secondly, with regards to our scholarships
foundation, how many resident brods actually benefited
from it? Is 80/20 rule applicable in our funds?
That means, can we keep 80% of the bounty to support our
fratenity's goals and obligations, and sharing only
20% for other community related activities? Why give
everything to others when in fact we have resident
brods who are in dire financial need? As for me, this
is the 'hoax' of our fraternity (pretending to be what
we are not).
We talked about Leadership, Brotherhood,
Determination, Scholarship, 'Shared experiences',
etc., but what really are those things meant to us?
How can we relate our 'misplaced priorities' into it?
I guess, it's time to wake up and face the
reality. There're a lot of problems to tackle in our
own corridors. While we focused too much on other
fences, we can't even find time to clean-up our own
mess.
Lastly, there is an old saying that 'a smart dog
can always scratch its own fleas'. Now the question
is, how smart are we to be able to scratch our own?
The answer lies only in our hands. :-)

Poem For Today
by
Javaero
17.11.02
At the end of the day
We play
And pray next day
To be gay
Hope we get a bigger pay
To make our day
And get our pay
During pay day
Hope we stay
Not to stray
Or stay out of way
To do our way

Familyture
by
Javaero
11.17.02
Welcome to Familyture
A family has different culture
Some people are insecure,
-Others are immature
What a horrible mixture!
A company of Software Venture
Now absorbed by Accenture
Where computer furniture
Is part of a bad Architecture
Tis' an endless venture
For a couple's pleasure
Thus a torture
For a company's future
There is a beastly creature
That behaves like a vulture
That is a seizure
To people of Familyture
Don't think there's a cure
Just give your picture
Look of innocence
Who's an amateur?
A danger that lure
A brainless that rule
Presenting new culture
Legacy of a pure vulture!

The Merits of the Problem
by
Javaero
12.14.02
A question or a problem
Sometimes hard, it may seem
But take it like a dame
Not a threat or blame
Solving a problem
Is not just a whim
If the picture's still dim,
Light up the flame
It's like eating with cream
Or watching a movie film
A tongue or audience to be tame
But having wisdom is a gem
If the question is out of frame
Don't bother to lose your fame
It's just like playing a game
Take "No Fear", for shame
Sort it out like a team
Never lose your dream…
Together, put up the beam
The merits of the problem!

A Reflection To Rhocsan`s 'Courriel'
by
Javaero
07.20.03
Rhocsan, a brotherhood with conviction
Forwarding e-mails from politics, to religion
That sometimes leads to members' friction.
Trying to understand with deep abstraction
About joke, fiction, and current situation
Causes some minor transient distraction
A lot or few number of e-mail collections
Don't bother if there are more corrections
As long as Rhocsans are in one direction!

Maong Para Makatulong

Ako po si Bentong
Dati'y tubong Kalentong
Bihirang nakamaong
Laging nakabarong
Suot ang maong
Sa Pasko ay para makatulong
Daladala ang regalong...
Punong-puno ang bayong
Kasama ko si Boyong
Lagi kong katulong
Dala'y lutong bagoong
At adobong kangkong
Tanging handa at pasalubong
Sa mga dukhang taong
Butas-butas ang maong
Tulad ng hapis na payong
Buti na lang magaling si Boyong
Sa kantahan ng Christmas Song
Sobrang aliw, di umuurong
Mapudpud man ang takong!

Bobby & Jenny
by
Javaero
12.28.04
There is always a reason why
two people fall in love, and no
word is closer to describe
it than the word 'magic'.
Well, now I can finally cross my
finger; Bobby and Jenny are
really meant for each other.
Ever since I know Bobby, he has been
searching the beauty and mystery
of the stars, but nothing is more
important to him now than Jenny's
tender 'LOVE'.
Jenny, you are a lucky girl!
You've got the Angel in your heart.
You are the rhyme, rhythm, and reason
of his existence.
My greatest wish is your love
for each other will grow deeper and
stronger that will stand the test
of time.
Take care and good luck!

Nasaan

Nasaan ang liwanag
Kung sadya ang pagkabulag
Sinong maalam
Ang di magdaramdam
Dugo't pawis ang puhunan
Naglaho sa isang tapunan!
Kahit payaso'y naluha
Sa sinapit na kusa
Ubus-ubos biyaya,
Pagkatapos nakatunganga

Ubus-ubos biyaya,
Pagkatapos nakatunganga
Extremely
You're home late, at works too busy
Just left the room, don't care if it's messy
Oh why my world so empty,
And mine eyes so misty!
With new friends, you're so happy
Gone billiards, bowling or karaoke
Drinking beer, discussing, laughing heartily
Don't even bother to remember me.
Sometimes we argued a bit sourly,
But you reason out so quickly
Such behavior is much unlikely
Well, it wasn't extraordinary.
Convincing myself, can handle this easily
Still lot of things preoccupies me
But I think this situation is going crazy
No more love, could there be?

DAN

Meron akong kaibigan.
Ang tawag ko ay Dan.
Nakakainis minsan.
Pero napapagtiyagaan.
Siya ay palaging maaasahan.
Lalo na sa kwentuhan.
Kahit gabi hanggang umagahan,
Sa kwento hindi mauubusan.
Marami siyang nabibigkas na linya.
Kasing lalim ng pag-iisip niya.
Mula politika hanggang siyensiya.
Meron siyang ibubuga.
Bantayan mo.
Marami siyang pakulo.
Sasakit ang tiyan mo.
Sa mga jokes na bitaw nito.
Meron din siyang pagkaseryoso.
Lalo pag pag-ibig ang topiko.
Mukha'y nagiging seryoso.
Dahil "feel" talaga niya ito.
Isa pa ito.
Sa panliligaw siya ay bobo.
Masyadong torpedo.
Di marunong magsalita ng simple ang loko.
Minsan ba naman.
Ang babaeng niligawan,
Sa liham ay sinabihan,
"Let Love Be Mine."
Apat na salitang masyadong seryoso.
Katumbas ng "I Love You."
Ang isip ng pobreng dalaga ay nagulo.
May nobyo na pala ito.
Pero isang katangian
Gusto ko sa aking kaibigan.
Mga kwentong maseselan.
Ito ay kanyang napagkaingatan.
Siya ay hindi tsismoso.
Isang taong matalino.
Mapagkatiwalaan ng sikreto.
Bilib ako sa kaibigan ko!

College Write-up
Daniel S. Custodio is a violation to the whole conception of
chaos. His life is a study in linearity. At a young age, he had
developed a strong attraction for physics. Fascinated by physical
phenomena and electrified by the brilliance of scientific minds,
he resolved to study physics at the University of the Philippines,
Diliman. Distance and scarcity of funds failed to deter him from
moving straight to his aim. At close range, his features betray
his purpose. When he moves, his action conveys a sense of
direction. When he speaks his words are loaded and to the point.
Independent, resourceful, cerebral, his personality inspires
respect from his friends and acquaintances. Beneath the
bespectacled seriousness of his countenance lies an easy sense of
humor, a person without pretentions, a man of principles.
A man with perspective, Daniel plans to pursue higher studies in
theoretical physics with a view towards contributing a piece of
knowledge in the field of chaos. He intends to find some order in
disorder; to speculate on swirling forms, rising column of
cigarette smokes, wind tunnels, and beating wings of butterflies;
to be at home with solitons, strange attractors, and a "Gallery of
Monsters"- the fractals; and finally to solve equations by
computer simulations. To stand on the verge of turbulence requires
a sensitivity to initial conditions. It is a process of continuous
abstraction, a series of intellectual tortures which Daniel wants
to take.
