Sample Letter 1

My Dear Brods,

In my humble opinion, 'Misplaced Priorities' is a
good article. Even if the article is a hoax, there is
still a good wisdom that we can get from it. Simply by
applying it to the context of our fraternity.

What do we think are the 'Misplaced Priorities' in
our beloved fraternity? Firstly, let's take into
consideration our fund raising and allocations. Yes,
we had raised a lot of funds but then just lost it in
a flick of a finger, by donating everything to our
Alma Mater. Secondly, with regards to our scholarships
foundation, how many resident brods actually benefited
from it? Is 80/20 rule applicable in our funds?
That means, can we keep 80% of the bounty to support our
fratenity's goals and obligations, and sharing only
20% for other community related activities? Why give
everything to others when in fact we have resident
brods who are in dire financial need? As for me, this
is the 'hoax' of our fraternity (pretending to be what
we are not).

We talked about Leadership, Brotherhood,
Determination, Scholarship, 'Shared experiences',
etc., but what really are those things meant to us?
How can we relate our 'misplaced priorities' into it?

I guess, it's time to wake up and face the
reality. There're a lot of problems to tackle in our
own corridors. While we focused too much on other
fences, we can't even find time to clean-up our own
mess.

Lastly, there is an old saying that 'a smart dog
can always scratch its own fleas'. Now the question
is, how smart are we to be able to scratch our own?
The answer lies only in our hands. :-)

OMNIA VINCIT!
